Dry shampoo is my main product; that I use regularly. I have mixed hair - greasy at the roots and super dry ends. It's hard to find a product that works for me and strikes the right balance. Dry shampoo is GREAT to use between washes. If I wash my hair too often, it turns to straw and becomes extremely unruly no matter how much conditioner I use. This is where dry shampoo comes in. On days I don't wash, I use dry shampoo to counteract oily roots. I was excited to try this dry shampoo from Sexy Hair because I love the Sexy Hair brand and buy their shampoos and conditioners regularly. The smell is pretty strong, not too strong but definitely NOT subtle. I don't mind the smell and love scented products, but that was too strong for me. Stays on hair all day. Luckily, it's a fairly fresh, clean scent, so it doesn't cause migraines like many perfumed, floral-scented products. Although the scent was a bit strong, the product worked VERY well on my oily roots! I sprayed the product on specific sections of hair, let it sit for a few minutes, pressed into the roots and combed the hair normally. Along with getting rid of the oiliness, it really tightened my roots too! I have thin, limp hair so any product that can pump it up is a win in my book! :) I haven't had any problems with powder or coating on my hair. If you don't feel like brushing, you can always flip your head upside down and give your hair a vigorous tousle. It's just as effective as brushing and results in a massive volume boost!
