Throttle shaft and link plate/closing plate do not match

I had to modify the throttle shaft connection and lock plate. The one that came with the carb didn't let the throttle open. After using the Dremel cutting wheel to remove 3/16 inch of material, the valve opened fully. Performance with this carburetor is noticeably lower. My guess is that the nozzle size is slightly smaller than what the fx850v actually needs.
