Review on Nokian Tires Hakka Black 2 SUV 235/65 R17 108-year-old by Adam Kotowski ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I expected more from the purchase, but not the worst option.

Auto - Mercedes GL500 388hp Size 275/50 R20. Cold pressure 2.3. This is my first summer season on Merce, so the comparison with the previous tires on Kruzak will not be entirely correct, although the tire size is almost the same Handling and braking properties do not cause any special claims. Both on new tires and on worn-out cars, it is always under control. On wet roads Nokian, as always, is great. You calmly make sharp turns at a good speed and the car does not deviate from the trajectory at all (only the director at the back begins to complain that he is hanging like a sausage and immediately upsets the excitement of driving) Although there is still a slight sensitivity to rutting, but compared to the previous Hakka Blue 2 SUV on Kruzak, it's not so bad. (There was generally a quiet horror) The braking properties of tires are excellent! Let me remind you that a lot depends on the pads. I installed a non-original on Merce and the brakes became terrible. I returned the regular pads and the car slows down by 1.5-2 meters shorter. Noisiness - Merc is well noisy, so I'm not complaining here. Comfort - when compared with Kruzak, then Merce reacts rather harshly to bumps in the road, despite the air suspension. Where you just drive on Kruzak without slowing down, on Merce you have to slow down to 20 km / h. Therefore, it is difficult for me to draw an unambiguous conclusion on this parameter. In general, I would like it to be softer, but then wear will be very fast. Regarding wear. During the season drove 31t. Km. The driving style is calm. As always, I flipped the wheels in places every 5t. Km of run. First front / back, then diagonally. As a result, tire wear is uneven by the end of the season. It looks like Merce eats rear tires faster and the rotation period needs to be reduced to 2-3 thousand Well, how can it be without the old problem of Nokian summer - cracking and crumbling of the tread rubber. Everything changes, but not this problem. I will attach a photo comparison of Hakki Black from 2022. with the same problem Overall, I would not recommend this tire. The cracks are too large and dangerous, and warranty replacement tires are denied.

Pros
  • Excellent handling on new and good on worn tires, excellent brakes, quite comfortable in terms of noise and not harsh. The green nameplates on the sidewalls are not lost :)))
Cons
  • The disease of all summer Nokians is cracking and crumbling of the tread rubber. What does the Black model crack much more than others Slight sensitivity to road rutting

The last time I bought a Nokian, the Honda Fit Nokian also wore out in the trash over the season.
