Review on 🔧 Crankshaft Saver for Miata by Will Ridpath

I was having a bit of wobble on my '99 Miata grip so I bought this in hopes it would help and to avoid using the 'thread locking' method. I replaced the crank gear, wooden key, crank pin and harmonic damper while disassembling everything and I recommend doing the same. I was able to easily pull the wooden dowel out with a pair of pliers and immediately noticed that not only was it warped but it was so cracked I was surprised it hadn't been cut off sooner. because now the machine works much better. I would recommend anyone with a Miata to purchase this kit and install it at their next timing belt change. It will definitely help a car that has crankshaft wobble and prevent it in a car that doesn't.
