Thin plastic and not very strong
Compared to other coiled cords I've used, this one is made of very thin plastic and doesn't offer a strong "spring" or grip. If the wires you are winding are stiff or tend to unwind, this may not be holding them together as it doesn't take long for that helical winding to break. For simple use with small wire gauges this will probably be fine.
