
Availability It took a while but it happened on Raspberry Pi 4. If you use Home Assistant and ESPHome, it's very simple. When configured for ESPHome, the GPIO relay pin is number 4. Use an FTDI card connected to the RPI, program it in ESPHome and make sure you select the ESP-07 card type. Boot first, connect the boot jumper. After that, turn off the device, remove the jumper and restart the computer. OTA if added then available. No more boot jumper or FTDI board needed.
