Update - emailed RAM and requested new tape. Immediately sent 2 pads free of charge. The one I checked below must be defective. The new trim sticks firmly to the textured, knobbed dashboard. Does not stick to dimpled dashboard on 2020 Sierra. One side of the double-sided sticky mat was very sticky. This side adhered perfectly to the plastic ball mount. The other side barely stuck to the dash, but the instructions say to leave them on for 24 hours, so I gave it a try. After 24 hours the adhesive backing no longer held the rest of the RAM phone holder. He pulled out with almost no effort. I have used another self-adhesive phone mount in another car that was taped to the dashboard bulge and it has held up for years. Don't waste $13 on this "sticky" mount joke. Adhesive means it sticks to the material. This bracket does not fit. I'm going to contact the company directly and ask for another sticky pad because I can't believe they actually sell this to people. Maybe my sticky pad was bad. I will update when they give another notebook.
