Within a minute of unboxing one of the levers broke where it connected to the base. I fixed it with glue but was disappointed by its fragility. We compared it to a wooden pasta stand and the wooden one was significantly better. This one is plastic which was our original reason to buy it as we thought it would get better cleaned but it was really brittle. The spaghetti noodles wouldn't stay and kept rolling down and our daughter had to keep chasing after them. Once dry, removing the noodles was harder than we thought because the narrower the area, the harder it was to remove without breaking them. It was also annoying that we had to balance the noodles when putting them on to keep the whole thing from tipping over and our hard work falling onto the floor. There was a lot less pasta in it than a wooden one, I'd say enough for 1-2 adult servings. It folds easily and takes up less space. I think if you rarely cook pasta, make small batches and don't have a lot of space then this might suit you. But if you want to cook a thin pasta or a large batch of something, look elsewhere. I don't think it could support the weight of a heavy pasta like lasagna. We'll stick with it, but it'll only come out when we make big batches of pasta.
