I purchased this awning to use in the bed of my truck in combination with a hard shell retractable RV that mounts directly over the bed. I didn't see a way to use a regular roll up tarp so I bought this from Revain. It works great - the arched shape allows me to cook at the back door and not have to worry about the heat from my stove damaging the canopy. It is very easy to assemble in minutes and consists of two long, articulated fiberglass rods on the outside and a shorter rod on the inside. You simply attach two outer poles to the awning, no sleeves to fiddle with. The inside pole simply ties to the inside tip and the ends fit into the pockets just like the two outside poles. Use with the supplied windscreen is optional. It also includes two canopy poles, bungee cords, pegs and a handy zip-through bag to keep them all. The fabric feels very durable, as do the seams. I am happy with my purchase and price. works for me
