Review on πŸ‘ Thumbsavers Advance: Small Deep Tissue Trigger Point Massage Therapy Tool - Relieve Hand, Wrist, and Thumb Pain, Extend Your Career by Ankur Songz

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A little short and narrow. Good stuff.

For a woman, I have medium length, fairly wide hands and fingers (typically for a massage therapist) - I wear a medium sized lady's glove. The small size was too tight for both knuckles of 1st and 2nd thumbs of both hands (fits snug and I have to press it onto my thumb so it expands in my knuckles even when my thumb is down); And too long (even after touching down, the proximal part is so tightly wedged in my first joint that there are still a few millimeters before my thumb touches the end). And if I don't press it down on my thumb, I end up with about 1/3 inch left. I would be interested to know if the material will soften over time/use and fit better around the joints? BTW I was really hoping to use it on the middle finger as well as that's where I get most compressions and joint inflammation but definitely too wide at the base and opening for that. I liked the feel of the mobilization material (never tried the original versions). Just holding it in one hand and using it to mobilize the forearms was both effective and enjoyable, so I'll leave it to myself, not the work.

Pros
  • Back massagers
Cons
  • Big and chunky
