Review on ๐ŸฅŠ Sanabul Battle Forged Striking Gel Ankle Guards for MMA, Muay Thai, and Kickboxing - Enhanced Pair for Optimal Performance by Pavel Craig

Add shin and grip guards for impact protection

I wear them when I practice Muay Thai. They help increase traction most noticeably when performing roundhouse kicks. The grip is stronger than barefoot or with socks, but not too strong if it hinders the speed of your movements. And since they fit like a compression stocking, they appear to protect the ankles from the same movement (whiplash) in a kick. Build quality seems fine, I haven't noticed any significant wear or anything out of the ordinary in the few months I've been using it. The design looks pretty cool too, better than a pair of twins or similar in my opinion. Yes. There are probably better ankle guards out there and yes you will pay for them financially, but they are good enough for training and light sparring a few times a week. If you're a competitive or pro gamer, look elsewhere as this probably won't suffice.
