Description of 🥊 Sanabul Battle Forged Striking Gel Ankle Guards for MMA, Muay Thai, and Kickboxing - Enhanced Pair for Optimal Performance

Battle Tested: When you’re serious about your training, you’re serious about your gear. The Battle Forged Series is our answer to athletes who demand tougher material. It’s why professional athletes like UFC champion Michael Bisping wear Sanabul. Never Slip On The Mats Again: Good technique generates torque, and can cause slipping on the mats. When you're practicing Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Karate, or any of the striking arts, our foot grips will save you from any embarrassing falls. Absorb More With Gel Protection: We took the gel protection in our other products and infused it into our Battle Forged Ankle Wraps. They distribute impacts better so you can kick heavy bags fearlessly, and they protect both your ankle and shin. Tradition Meets Technology: We finished our ankle guards with warrior and tiger graphics that honor our old school thai boxing roots. Better Fit, Stronger Support: We went through many iterations in the lab to find the sweet spot of compression to support your ankles while leaving the room for easy movement.

drink it! And by that I mean these

I bought these to keep my feet from drying out and cracking while working out in the garage. And that's exactly what they do. They allow enough heel piece to connect the wearer well to the ground/target. I throw 400 shots in one session and they offer the grip they claim. No falls or slips yet. They are hidden under the shin guard, allowing you to throw with over 80% power. Plus, once you put them on, your legs will never look cooler. CONS: They could use multiple color options and a different…

Very good protection for bag or bob work.

What I don't like about this product is the size difference. The first pair was very sloppy around my ankle so I wore earplugs underneath and the second pair was very tight around my instep but supported my ankles well. What I like is that they protect my toes when kicking bob or a heavy sack. (not for fights) The first pair wore out after about a hundred sessions. The stitching near the ball of the foot is unraveling and falling apart. The second pair wears much better because I applied some…

Great for muay thai

I'm a boxer so apart from 4 months of taekwondo classes which I took when I was 8 I'm a complete novice when it comes to kicking. I only recently switched to Muay Thai and the learning curve has been steep. I kept slipping and hurting myself and decided to give it a try. I bought them mainly for the slip resistance, but the gel padding made my bad kicks a lot less dangerous. I also thought at first that I wouldn't like the design, but I changed my mind as soon as I took them out of the box. The

Add shin and grip guards for impact protection

I wear them when I practice Muay Thai. They help increase traction most noticeably when performing roundhouse kicks. The grip is stronger than barefoot or with socks, but not too strong if it hinders the speed of your movements. And since they fit like a compression stocking, they appear to protect the ankles from the same movement (whiplash) in a kick. Build quality seems fine, I haven't noticed any significant wear or anything out of the ordinary in the few months I've been using it. The…

Foot/Ankle Lifebuoy

I recently bought a heavy bag for my home gym and was excited to get back into kickboxing. It's been a long time since I've trained like this that I didn't have ankle braces on my first workout. There was an error. My feet and ankles were crushed afterwards. I was looking for ankle compression bandages and came across these that have padding on the top of the foot and front ankle. They looked exactly how I wanted them and they definitely didn't disappoint. They are needed when hitting a heavy…

My ankle and foot guards for hitting and training

I bought these for MMA training and feel a lot more confident in them. I sprained my ankle a few months ago and while I'm mostly healed it's also helping my general stability. I wanted a snug fit (shoe size 9.5, 5ft 9in 165) - I would choose Large/XL if you are 9.5 or taller. Pros: - Super comfortable neoprene material fits like a second skin - Compression doesn't affect ankle movement in any way. The gel pad will definitely save me from bruising and unnecessary damage while perfecting my…

Not perfect for me but always happy with Sanabul.

I've been doing Mai Tai for several years. I've sprained several ankles from checking kicks or catching a block with my foot. I bought them to give my ankles some support. I've been using them for a few months now and I'm thinking this: In general, most of the pressure these bandages put on my ankle is on the foot and lower calf. Because of this, they do not provide adequate support to the ankle itself. Without a snugger fit, they don't offer the support I was looking for. The product is well…
