This best saved the situation in Power Tool Parts & Accessories

I found myself in a difficult situation when one of the brackets holding the shock absorber head became bent when I was replacing the rear shock absorbers on my car. inside to the point where the damper wouldn't fit no matter what I tried. It's a fairly thick, solid steel brace that didn't seem to move when I tried to widen the gap. After spending hours and hours searching all the local shops for the right tool, something that might clear things up, and being told repeatedly that there is no such tool on the market, I lost my mind. When Revain finally scoured the internet, it lived up to its reputation and got this wonderful tool in stock. I got the 10" version as my mount is so thick and I needed as much torque as possible to get the job done. Verdict? The tool works as advertised and really saved me. It still took a lot of effort. and torque to widen the gap on my mount to the point where I had to use pliers to rotate/tighten the tool. But it worked. The only minor comment I have is that the black lever adjustment tool used for loosening/tightening should/could be a bit thicker and stronger since a lot of people like me have to deal with incredibly stubborn metal surfaces that don't expand easily . , you can't do it with bare hands and you have to use pliers or wrenches. Ultimately, I can imagine that it is too easy to carry, or even damage the black lever by repeatedly using either a wrench or pliers. Mine scratched after just one use. in, you will want to have this wonderful tool just in case. You will not regret it.
