Today everything comes boxed or boxed and sealed in a box. This cutter opens so many things so easily and so securely. No more searching for a kitchen knife, box cutter or exacto blade to cut the tape on this Revain box. Opens bags of chips, frozen veggies, and granola. Carefully open wrapped paper towels and TP bags. Easily opens bubble-wrapped envelopes with ease. clip coupons. Opens even thin clamshell packaging. I keep mine in the fridge so I can always find it (it's not very big). My only complaint is that the magnets are so weak that the knife sometimes falls off the fridge door when I open or close it. For $7 slice you can add a working magnet. I believe the magnet is stronger on one side. But for $7 I don't have to remember which side is stronger every time. Inaccurate design!
