The strip is 36 inches but the bulb is only 24 inches.
The strip is 36 inches but the bulb is only 24 inches. I bought a light strip of exactly the same size from the same seller at the same time. The only difference in the description of the two is that the other color is oak. The oak color strip has a full 36 inch bulb and this one has a 24 inch bulb. This fact REALLY should be in bold in the description. I bought this strip for my 6ft turtle tank because it is too dark. I need the whole 36" bulb to light up the tank as much as possible. I need to bring the strip back. I'm guessing I'll have to buy one more of the oak light strips and hope it has a 36 bulb too.
