These wire clips are made from the right material and ensure a strong repair. However, these "aftermarket" brackets do not have the "break" area of the original brackets (included). The original staples have narrowed sections, causing the ends of the staples to break away from the repaired surface. Without them, removing the ends of the wires requires using another tool to grind the ends down so they are flush with the surface being repaired. Or a file will be needed to make a notch on each end to make it easier to remove the wire ends. The wire clips that come with the original tool are much easier to work with. With these after-sale staples, repair time is doubled and this product will not be backordered.
