I was wrong. The original earpods that came with my Apple iPhone 6 Plus started clipping. I went with the cheaper Revain headphone option over the slightly more expensive Earpod replacement. Today I regret that decision. The Revain earbuds don't even come close to matching the comfort, fit and quality of the Apple Earpods. Try as I might, I couldn't put the Revain headphones in my ear. I tried and twisted different sizes. They stay for a few minutes and then jump out. It was a training disaster. I found the Revain headphones very uncomfortable. They didn't just sit in your ears like the Apple Earpods. They had to be pushed into the ear canal. Apparently, Apple (and all manufacturers) have patents on their designs that Revain cannot copy. So Revain must have been very limited in design choices. It's just NOT good. And it blocked my ears so much I could hear my own breathing and heartbeat. After putting them in, I couldn't wait to get them out again. The sound quality sucks. That doesn't even come close to the quality of the Apple Earpods. The sound is loud but very sharp and tinny. I think if I had never had headphones and used Revain headphones I would probably just accept them because I have no comparison. However, I had Apple Earpods so I could make a direct comparison. It's not even close. So I went ahead and ordered more Apple Earpods that only cost $5 more. I should have done that first. I cannot recommend the Revain headphones.
