Important to know before buying

I would like to inform you about both the product and the process of applying it to your hair. I bought Dark Brown Fading to Silver Gray. First, silver gray isn't silver, it's more of a pinkish purple. It's ok, but if you're looking for true gray or silver, this isn't it. There is one that goes from black to gray that might work for some. My natural hair color is salt and pepper, and my salt is brown, not black, so I didn't want black. My gray is very silvery. Its pink-silver color goes well with salt and pepper. Secondly, when I was considering buying them, I saw somewhere that thicker hair needs fewer packs than thinner ones (about 2-3). I have thick, very curly shoulder length hair. I bought two packs and they were categorically small, so I had to order two more. Four packs/80 strands. Third, the hair quality is really very good. That's why they get 5 stars from me. Soft, shiny, odorless, easy to assemble with your own hands. Very beautiful hair. I love her. The first two kits I bought I installed three days ago and the next two kits had to wait two days. She slept in it (she braided her hair in a loose ponytail), bathed and showered wearing a cap to keep from getting wet. None falls out. They are fairly light and don't put any pressure on your head. Fourth important info about styling: I'm not sure if this will be relevant for straight haired people but for curly people although I straightened my hair for styling. inside and at the top of my head is what hairdressers call a "shelf" where my real hair hangs over my extensions. The hair on my head is thick. I watched some online videos and found out that they need to be mixed with hair. There are many do-it-yourself videos out there and I've bravely done this myself, but this is something best left to a professional. This includes certain types of lengthening cuts (not your hair). Tools: barber scissors, razor comb and comb. I'm lucky that it's ombre and my natural hair length is pretty much the same length as my darker hair so when I mixed it I could easily see where my own hair ended and extensions started to blend it in. I managed to flatten the sides but the back doesn't blend in and I can still see part of the shelf. The video states that if you have curly hair, after blending, you should curl your hair and conjoin the extension to your natural hair to curl. I thought I had curling irons. Not me. Pooh. My husband agreed to buy one for me and a razor comb so I can get the job done. I'll write more after wearing them for a while and maybe upload a photo one day. I bought 14" and 16" skeins, four packs, two sets of each. I've transitioned from dying my hair to growing out my silver tones, so last fall I clipped off the leftover hair dye. My hair was as long as it is now with hair extensions when I cut off the rest of the color so I bought these because I missed my long hair and thought it would be fun to wear until my hair grows back. you're beautiful. Even with my straightened hair it feels and looks good. I just need to mix up the shelf more and give it nice swirls. Hope this will be helpful. The main thing I want to say is, don't think that thick hair needs fewer strands, as it is written somewhere here. I could probably even get by with a fifth pack, but I ended up spending more than I originally planned to finish the job.
