So far so good. I installed this in September 2017 and it is now December 2017. At least the low beams no longer fail when driving in the dark. One oddity is that the headlights don't always turn off after the light switch is turned off. I don't think it's the LCM module. There are other sensors in the system that can cause strange symptoms. The module itself is more of an R&R nightmare, but such is life for us DIYers. This fitted my 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis LS. Even though it was a dealer recall for safety reasons, they wanted to charge exorbitant diagnostic fees to test the problem and they were out of stock for months. Just unbelievable! I think I'll send them an invoice and see if they take a step forward and get it right.
