My tablet is heavy. I don't take the case off because it hurts to take it off. If you are using a heavier tablet, remove the case before using it, otherwise the tablet holder will sag and the tablet will slowly tip down due to its heavy weight. Apart from that fact I like it. I have one for my microphone on my desktop and it works great. Compared to the more expensive ones, they work perfectly. I just wish they were a little longer!
