Review on 🔊 Alphasonik AS2629P 6.5" & 6X9" 3-Way Speakers: Enhanced Car Audio Package with Impressive Power by Lamar Vanderburg

I had high hopes for these speakers. After seeing some good reviews I thought I'd give it a try and was disappointed. I wanted to upgrade two of my factory speakers in a 2008 Chevy Colorado (using an aftermarket Kenwood KDC-BT558U controller) after noticing the driver's side door speaker had failed. After installing two speakers and playing around with the EQ settings, I noticed that I didn't feel any bass from those speakers. I fiddled with the settings for hours and couldn't get enough bass. Don't get me wrong, the high frequencies from these speakers were amazing and very clear, it was just that the low frequencies were almost non-existent. I reinstalled one of my factory speakers and left a kicker speaker. I immediately felt the bass in stock and barely in the kicker speaker. I ended up sending the speakers back and ordering another standard speaker which I am very happy with. I was surprised as I have always known Kicker as a quality brand. Maybe I have a bad set.
