Let me start by saying that I am fortunate to have a problem solving tool at home so thankfully I didn't have to go back. That being said, when I received this item it was self-wrapped and well packaged, but the cutter was bent and it doesn't really look like anyone stepped on it (the box wasn't damaged when it arrived). some special tools and for about an hour I was able to bend it back into shape. I'm sure not everyone has this ability and when you buy something you don't want to fix it just to use it. If necessary, the medal is soft and bends quite easily.
