In the beginning, the best part of 2020, I was in the market to install hardwood floors in my home. But after a long search, no contractor has quoted me a price that I felt was reasonable. Just buying hardwood floors would cost me thousands, so I was reluctant to pay tens of thousands for an installation. Luckily, COVID came and pretty much all productivity went down. So I decided to get involved in several housing projects myself in my free time and in isolation. Obviously one of those projects was laying floors. After completing my first floor installation using only a Craftsman miter saw and nailer, it was clear I needed to expand my tool collection. ever. When I started my next flooring project I had all the tools a contractor could use, but this floor stapler was definitely a REAL MVP! I used 2β³ ground braces on 3/4β³ hard acacia wood and there wasn't a single crease! I was also surprised at how much ground I was able to cover the closer I got to the wall. All I had to do was hit the hammer vertically with light pressure and it still generated enough force to drive the staples in easily. Put simply. This tool is worth every penny! Call me crazy but I actually found hardwood floors to be a lot of fun.
