Review on Heat Set Inserts Compatible SP40NKUS Connecting by Joel Miranda

I'm new to heat shrink tubing but have a project that needs them so I did a little research . Eventually I realized they would have to install my random Chinese soldering iron, which I also bought from Revain here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079VVHPPSI. Read customer questions and the seller answered every question so it was a good sign from the start. But in one of the questions the seller gave the sizes of the tip inserts so I took my digital calipers and measured my soldering iron and it seemed to fit the tip sizes so I bit the bullet and bought them not knowing for sure if they fit. they will work or not. Although they fit my soldering iron, there is about 2-5mm of play when it wobbles. The hole in the tips for the heating element is barely deep enough. It's not a tip problem of course, it's just my random Chinese soldering iron. I completed this project with them in just a few minutes whereas if I had just used it with a regular soldering tip I could make a mess and possibly mess up my 3D printed part that took 36 hours and I need to get started . again. So I'm very glad I caught her. Like I said I'm new to heat shrink tubing so I'm no pro but I can say this is the best you can get in terms of quality, durability and ease of use that comes with heat shrink inserts. In addition, communication with the seller is top notch. So if there are problems, I am sure that it will not be difficult to solve something. If you have one of the soldering irons listed, or even the one I have, I recommend you take them.
