They fit perfectly for the inserts needed for a 3D print I did recently. They heat up very quickly and work great. I'm very excited to use them in another project, I need to develop something that uses screw inserts.

I've used them a few times. The tip tends to hang on the internal threads of the insert. I use rubber gripped pliers to hold the insert during installation and to depress it when I remove the soldering iron. It works well for me and I will use it every time I install heated inserts in my parts.

I found the tip was too long and was melting the plastic under the inserts since the hole wasn't through. Sometimes when I took the iron out the insert stuck to the tip and pulled out.
