Does a good job cracking pecans with less effort

This pecan cracker does a good job cracking pecans with little effort, but it definitely makes a mess by throwing projectiles all over the place. However, every nutcracker scatters shells everywhere! This nutcracker can be easily adjusted to accommodate both large and small pecans. Other reviewers suggest putting a nutcracker in a box to catch the shells, which will definitely help reduce clutter. But if you have a large batch of pecans, this is a really handy tool. It will likely work for other types of nuts as well.
