If you're looking for a modern 4K/Blu-ray player, check out the Sony UBP-X800M2. This is an update of the previous Sony UDP-X800 player. Sony took what made this player great and finally added Dolby Vision processing. This means that color, contrast and brightness are optimal for your TV, projector or mobile devices. They also updated the GUI that looked so cluttered on previous models. This player updates all discs to look like 4K. All the latest audio technologies included: Dolby Atmos and DTS-X. To install this player in your system, simply connect an HDMI cable, update the firmware, adjust the settings and you're good to go. This player plays 3D movies. Treatment. But to do that, you need to set Dolby Vision to the "Off" position. My only complaint is that Sony only offers 3 streaming services: Netflix, Prime Video and YouTube. If you want to add more streaming channels, just forget about it. For now, Sony won't let you add any! While this Sony 4K/Blu-ray player offers an exceptional viewing experience, don't buy it if you have many different streaming channels to choose from.
