It was actually very easy to assemble. I have a 2011 Ford Escape. And it was really easy. The only problem I would say is that the radio doesn't connect to the kit at all. That's the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars. Once you understand how it holds the radio in place, it's very easy to figure out how to set up your radio so that it's positioned exactly where you want it after installing the DSSI kit. It can't fall out because it's safe. I wish I could use a radio case but to be honest I don't need it. You can't pull out the radio so it's not going anywhere. My radio was too big for me to use a decorative radio ring, but I like the final setup. Very satisfied. I didn't have to cut or change anything. Sorry I thought I saved the best picture.
