I used them to cover two coax ports that I'm not currently using on a 4-way splitter/amplifier that I have for my OTA setup. I've always heard that they protect your signal from "leaks" but I'm not entirely sure if that's true or if that's just what they tell you to buy something like this. In any case, they were cheap and seem to do what they were designed to do. I say it's "fur" at best.
