I have a problem with the sole pads and this was solved a few years ago when I bought the Skechers "Resistance Runners” shoes which took all the weight of heels and moved it to the middle feet. Sole. I still have these shoes, probably 10 years old and after running at least 1000 miles they are still in pretty good shape. I can't believe Skechers took them off the market! About 2 years ago I came across a new version of Resistance Runners on eBay shipped from Asia - total price $169 but took a chance and bought it with equally good results. When the new Arch Fit came out I bought it straight away and was very happy again. I hope they hold up as well as my previous models - at this price I think it's a really good deal. I ordered my normal size 10M and they fit perfectly. They look great, provide all-day comfort without the need for additional removable arch support, and have not caused any plantar sores or heel pain.
