Not good for hair care for me

Bought this comb based on positive reviews. Unfortunately the brush didn't work for me. Boar bristle brushes are designed for people with thin or thin hair. I have very fine hair, not thick at all, but the soft bristles have never penetrated my hair to actually dry and straighten it. My hair just looked flat because it only caught a few hairs at a time. Also, while the wooden handle is nice, it's not ergonomic at all. I've been using round brushes for years and have grown accustomed to the constant grip it takes to pull and straighten my hair. That wooden handle bored me. I was able to make the handle more ergonomic and grippy by cutting a finger off a rubber oven mitt and placing it over the handle. The grip is much better, but all boar bristle brushes are not for me. Maybe one that mixes boar bristles and nylon boar pins will grab the hair better.
