Opened the box yesterday and used my first straw (I always carry a 24 ounce Starbucks insulated glass with me - by my bed, in my car and with me when I go out) and that straw seemed right at first. They are thinner and you can see through them, unlike the original Starbucks straws that come with the cup. Filled my cup for the second time today (so this is literally my third use of this straw in 2 days) and the tip of the straw broke off in a large jagged piece - this will never happen with Starbucks brand green plastic. straws! So if you're looking for a Starbucks branded replacement - this is NOT it :( UPDATE: My 2nd straw just broke into tons of pieces! Last night I had my 2nd straw (from a pack) in my cup on my bedside table and the cup fell on the floor it was late and dark in my room (tv light only) i picked up the cup and there was no straw i thought it might be under my bedside table or my bed so i just put it I put my Starbucks straws in one of them. When I drank from my cup, I had tiny bits of plastic in my mouth (which could easily be swallowed)! These straws "act" like they're made of glass - they're THE WORST STRAWS EVER !By the way, as a mother of 6 - they should NEVER be used on children or if you have children (my children drink from my Starbucks cup ALL THE TIME)!The product must state that it is NOT S is tarbucks branded and is NOT a substitute for Starbucks branded straws.
