The item was shipped in two pieces
When I received this item, it was in two pieces. The company had not carved it out of one piece of wood. The connection was not glued together, so it did cause some damage. I repaired it and painted it and used it as it was since it wouldn't be that noticeable. If I was staining it, I would have sent it back as damaged because it would have looked terrible.
