I wasn't sure how they would work quietly. The large pillow had to be cut to fit the legs of the headboard and footboard of our king bed. They are very heavy. The headboard and side rails weigh about 160 pounds, and the footrest is significantly smaller but heavier. The pads are 3/16" thick and are used to protect the newly installed bamboo flooring. After lying on the floor for a few weeks, I moved the entire bed to see if there was any damage. At the time of the There was no visible damage during the making of this item. It will be seen. The cushions appear to be well attached as they did not move when the bed was moved around the room. I purchased separate sets for different furniture to be used in the bedroom. So far it's good, at this point I would recommend pads and a set of different sized pads.
