After a few tweaks I'm happy with this camera. Even in low light (at night in the home office with the ceiling fan on), the camera shows a much sharper image than even my HD FaceTime camera. It also does a good job of autofocus, even at 24 inches from me. The bracket could be stronger and have more friction. It looks like there is double sided tape built into the camera, which I might end up doing. Otherwise it can easily slip. Also, it has a hinge instead of a ball joint. This doesn't bother me because I was planning on placing it right in front of me, but if you're planning on placing the camera on the side, the ball joint can be important on other models. The worst thing I can find on this camera is the default tint setting, at least in low light conditions (home office at night with overhead lights). which I used for testing. I turned a little pink (although I was sharp and not grainy as mentioned above). I ended up installing a third-party webcam settings app from the App Store and tweaking the tint a bit. to restore the normal color to my cheeks. This seemed to work. So I leave this camera and order a second one for a computer in another room.
