My 4 year old daughter swam in it.
My new 4 year old daughter has been swimming with it without a snorkel for at least half an hour since the first moment we were on it. I mean it as a comment on fit and comfort. Be aware that she also wore matching pink "sand colored padded snorkel socks" which may have contributed to the fit and comfort and that she is a swimmer who gave up all forms of buoyancy before she was 2 years old So your mileage given with any 4 year old may differ. With adjustments, they will likely last us for many years of growth.
