This Denso filter consists of a very dense filter material that prevents dust from entering the engine. It fits perfectly. It gets very dirty after 10,000 miles compared to the original Toyota filter which is good for 15,000 miles. This means that the Toyota filter is made from a slightly smaller material, although it is also made by Denso. Buy Denso brand filters instead of Toyota. The prices are about the same.
