I needed this for my entertainment stand to connect an HDMI cable to the switch where the 5th port was out of the way. I needed room and couldn't have the portion of the cable sticking out to the side, and I'm not a fan of sharp cable bends, especially near ports, so this product worked brilliantly in that regard. However, this design seems to be a little big. That said, the L-shaped link's "housing" appears to be too large for functionality. If I had to use this in a setup where, say, multiple HDMI ports are lined up horizontally, I'm a little concerned that the size of the case would severely cut off access to the HDMI ports on either side of the line. said this was no problem for my only HDMI port on the side of my switch and works great for my needs.
