Review on 🔧 Enhanced Performance ACDelco 46D2021A Front Lower Suspension Ball Joint Assembly by Terry Kohl

Works great as replacement parts

Fits my 1980 Chevy truck. I had some trouble getting the boot where it belongs. I don't know if all balls have this problem. I ended up using a square blade screwdriver on the edge of the boot and tapping it with a hammer to set it in place. At first I thought of a ball joint press, but none of the adapters fit well enough. The fit of the boot is the reason for the minus star. I also had an issue with a ball joint press that was too short to pull out the old joint. I attached it using a grinder to cut off part of the driveshaft to allow the distance adapter to fit in. Pressing this connection in was not a problem as the adapters allow the shaft to pass through the end of the press. Just prepare the top of the press first, then insert the bottom adapter. I also add to anyone who doesn't have the right tools, the ball joint puller is worth the money and I wouldn't even attempt to replace it without a ball joint press. .
