I bought this auger mainly for the kitchen sink and it worked very well. The 35 foot length is definitely useful for my use case. Hammering it with a drill is much more convenient and efficient than turning it by hand. However, the product has a small problem. When the snake was pulled back, the plastic holding the small screw in the drum burst (see attached picture). I believe this plastic screw is used to hold the end of the snake in place. At first I was planning to return the device, but later I decided to keep it and repair it myself because the overall construction, especially the snake itself, is quite strong. To fix it, I drilled two holes in the blue plastic and installed two screws. If a manufacturer can do something like that, it should make the product a little more reliable.
