First of all, I have to say that I am not a fan of the official Sony PS3 controller, as I find it too easy to hold. I'm always looking for a second controller that suits me. This Logitech controller is a mix of good and bad. First, good. The controller is slightly heavier than a standard pad and feels very good in the hand. I wouldn't say it's more durable, but it's definitely heavier and its ergonomics are good. Analog sticks are far superior to standard pads because they don't lend themselves as easily. In addition, however, the disadvantages of the war outweigh the disadvantages. The D-Pad feels very loose and makes an audible click with each press, which is never a good sign for a controller. The buttons on the face are ok, but the buttons on the shoulders just aren't there. L1 and R1 also feel very loose and clicky, but L2 and R2 don't offer enough power - you really have to push them down to get the full range of triggers. When it comes to intangible objects, this controller has no motion sensitivity or force feedback. While it does have a feature that lets you toggle D-Pad functions with the left analog stick, it's not as good as I was hoping. All in all, this is a decent second controller for your PS3. Highly recommended for shooter fans because of the analog sticks, but everyone else should beware. The D-Pad is inexcusable. EDIT: After spending some more time with this controller I'm starting to like it more and more. The extra weight is really a huge benefit and the triggers are amazing once you get used to it. I'm still not a big fan of the d-pad, but luckily 95% of games mostly use analog sticks. If you don't like the stock PS3 controller, I would definitely recommend it to everyone.
