Works well. The price is right. There is a star deduction because of the blister packaging. The plastic was so tight to the bars that it took some time to remove without damaging the device. I suppose a soak in hot water would make things easier, but I already had the heat off and didn't want to heat the water on the stove. Whoever invented blister packaging must pack his head in blister packaging. If you don't have a 1 1/2" socket, it would be a good idea to also purchase Camco's 09883 5" Screw-in Water Heater Screw-in Element Wrench for just a few dollars. I don't think you could use an open ended wrench as most blocks are recessed into the heater.
