I bought this notebook because I wanted something smaller for drawing on the go. I work almost exclusively with graphite pencil and this paper is just terrible for him. The texture of the paper is such that even the lightest touch will smudge the graphite. I'm used to smudging my pencil; I have graphite spots on my pinky to prove it. But this paper is the /worst/ of the ones I've ever seen scribbled on. In addition, pencil lines can hardly be erased. Even with a slight pull, the graphite penetrates the texture of the paper and does not come off. The weirdest thing is that I don't get a really dark shade no matter how hard I press. And I can never get a satisfactory black. I'd rather use the cheap copy paper I sometimes draw on at work than this paper.
