Review on 🚲 Faswin 2-Pack Garage Bike Rack - Vertical Wall Mount Bicycle Storage System with Indoor Bike Hook by Oso Mears

Use different gear - fits your mountain bike snugly

I can't hang my mountain bike from the ceiling of my garage so these vertical bike hangers proved to be the perfect solution. I researched carefully and chose the Faswin bike wall mount because it turned out to be of good quality, had good reviews and you got two mounts instead of what others thought was one. (Seems like other sellers are selling the exact same mount under different names.) When they arrived the quality looked good, and they included what appeared to be good mounting hardware (screws and drywall anchors). So I found a place to hang them and since there were no wall studs to attach them to I used the brackets that came with them. I was a bit concerned if they would be able to support the weight of the bike but as no problems were mentioned I drilled the smallest holes I could while still hammering in 4 anchors. I wanted to hang my mountain bike and at first didn't think the tire would fit in the hook because the fit was so tight. Luckily I'm healthy and was able to turn the bike to the right and finally hook the front wheel. Note: The 26" cleat on my mountain bike is the standard size for a mountain bike. There is only 3 inches of clearance between the hook and the edge of the baseplate to squeeze a bike tire into. (see picture) In addition, the hook is welded and does not move. I'm sitting in my living room and I hear a loud cracking noise. I go into the garage to find that the supplied anchors have been pulled out of the drywall and the bike (with bracket) has fallen onto a rather expensive new welding machine. (See image.) Therefore, the fasteners are of good quality and should hold up well. Mountain bike tires barely fit the hook though, if you have a road or hybrid bike you should be fine. If you can install the mount while your bike's rear wheel is on the ground, you should have no trouble removing the mount with the screws and anchors provided. If you're hanging your bike off the ground, you'll need to find more secure wall anchors, or you may want to attach your bike rack directly to wood posts or concrete, if applicable. [.] Many Thanks!
