Review on Effortlessly Clean and Sanitize with the beyond by BLACK+DECKER HSMC1321APB Steam Mop by Joseph Flamm

This is our second steam mop from Black and Decker. So let me start with the two shortcomings I found with both mops and then tell you why I still recommend this one. Drawback number one: 20-foot cables. Which, believe it or not, is longer than the cord that came with my first B&D mop. Twenty feet is shamelessly short for something like this. Most mops in this price range have a cord that is at least 25 feet long. You keep turning this mop on and off when you have a lot of floor. Disadvantage number two: The cloth wiper head is one-sided and is attached directly to the underside of the steam plate with Velcro. Other mops have attachments that surround the steam plate like a mitten, allowing you to use both sides to clean. Because the cloth head of this mop is single-sided and attached with Velcro at the bottom, it may come loose if you work hard cleaning the floor. Now for the pros: First, it releases a ton of vapor. This mop releases steam FAST. Third, the nozzles on this mop allow you to do a lot more with it than just wash the floors. You get a clothes steamer, trowel brush, all-purpose nylon brush, copper bristle rust cleaner, and a hose for attaching parts to a mop. Fourth, you can remove the body of the steamer from the handle and end of the wiper and use it independently from these stick vacuum cleaners, where you can detach the core of the vacuum cleaner and use it as a dust-collecting vacuum cleaner. I've had other brands of steam mops that didn't produce as much steam as this mop. and they don't heat up as quickly as these. For these reasons, as well as the attachments, I recommend this mop despite its two disadvantages.
