Review on Powermaster Performance 9604 Mastertorque Starter by Buddy Colbert

I bought this for my 1991 f150 302 with headers. Fits perfectly, sounds cool even on startup. Lots of power, turns the motor much faster than the original. The reason for the 3 stars is that after a few weeks (btw this is my third car, hardly used) I heard a terrible noise on the freeway and stopped. After some serious time under a truck on the side of the motorway I discovered that a gear had come loose from the starter motor and hit my gearbox! I unscrewed it and tied the zipper to the frame, my wife came and started the SUV truck. Revain sent me another one and it's been fine for a few weeks now. Works well. It took a while to get the parts out of the bell but everything is fine now, thank goodness no damages as far as I can tell. I consider this an accident as this is a very well respected name.
