I wanted to wait until the holidays and business was over to open, but I couldn't wait. Holy bells, I'm so glad I didn't! This foot massager is amazing and genuine. Your feet really get massaged - no silly vibrations here claiming to massage your feet. Two separate functions take care of tired, aching feet. The first is a roll that slowly moves up and down the soles of your feet. Second is the air compression which massages the sides and top of the foot and also slightly lifts the ankles if your foot is smaller. Setup takes as long as you have to open the box, plug the power cord into the massager and a power outlet, and press the button. Nothing complicated, no assembly, no searching the internet for videos on how the controls work. The heating function is either on or off. The device will automatically turn off (blue light) after 15 minutes unless you choose the option to let it run for 30 minutes (red light). Roller and compression are controlled separately and each can be set to low, medium or high. Here we go, super easy. What's missing are storage bags, although good options include one of those reusable fabric shopping bags or inexpensive nylon gym clothes. You may also want to use self-adhesive Velcro to hold a small remote control along with the massager. If the remote control is lost, you can still fully control the massager using the controls on the top of the device. While it's on, the massager is surprisingly quiet. The loudest part is the rush of air as the compression tanks around your legs are deflated. With this massager, there is no loud buzz like vibrating massagers. What I love about this massager is that the cloth slippers on each leg compartment can be unzipped and washed. While we wear very thin socks to keep the fabric inserts clean. (I love my family but some need pedicures, stat...). To prevent shrinkage, I wash them in cold water and let them air dry, then put the booties back on. The rest of the massager is mostly made of hard plastic and can be cleaned with a cloth dampened with a mild detergent. up to men's size 12 fit in the leg pockets, but are too narrow. I wear women's size 11 / men's size 10 and felt a bit tight. My husband has the largest feet in the family and wears the 12 inch men's size and was able to get his feet in but said his toes curled up and felt pinched. He couldn't use the roll or compression functions on the highest settings without injuring himself a bit. I think as long as your feet are a size 11 or smaller your feet will not feel full. It is best to use this massager while seated in a comfortable chair, low enough that your feet touch the floor. If you decide to let your little ones try it, make sure they stay in their seats while their feet are in this massager. Do not let them get up as they may lose their balance and fall or their full weight may damage the rolling mechanisms. All in all, this foot massager is a wonderful, wonderful tool to help anyone with sore, tired, and aching feet. Skip the vibrating type at a lower cost as they just don't perform at the same level. Anyone who works on their feet all day will appreciate this gift and shower you with gratitude after the first use. It's not as heavy as it looks and is quite portable, so someone could take it to work and enjoy a quick massage on their break, or even share the comfort with co-workers.
