Review on GUB 609 Bicycle Handlebar Stem Mount Camera Rack with Flashlight Holder - CNC Alloy Anodized, Enhanced for Sports Photography by Chris Hamim

Perfect after a small modification.

Convenient design for attaching accessories in the middle of the bike. I equipped it with a Bontrager GoPro to Ion100 flat mount so I could mount the headlight (Bontrager Ion 100). I've spent quite a bit of time researching and buying (and returning) a range of bike components that allow the use of as limited a number of appropriate accessories as possible in the most streamlined and unobtrusive way possible (I don't like bulky handlebar accessories). or the ugly/ugly rubber band mounts that come with most gear). ). It was a great option for cyclists. above, but the spacer tubes that come with it are more than twice as long as needed for my bike stem cover. I understand they offer an overall length that fits all bikes, but it would be nice if they included different sized spacers (they're cheap aluminum. The manufacturer includes pennies), but after you've taken a hacksaw and cutting one in half resulted in an ideal construction spacing, allowing for a very low profile. I suppose you can also use a grinder or if you really want to get some the right size shims to create the spacing you want you can do that too, but I didn't want to spend extra money on such a small component and I did have the good old days of COVID-19 quarantine. Let's face it, ALL bike components are overpriced compared to what you get. and this is no exception, although I have no problem with the price (it's just a part of the bike I've learned to accept), so saving up additional loot to perfect it was humbling.

Pros
  • Tough finish
Cons
  • Smart design
