I ordered this circuit breaker because I need a DIN rail switch for occasional use within a panel and it would be nice to have circuit protection on the DIN rail to install. Rail. energy source. The MCB as described and illustrated includes a short length of DIN rail and two screws. In particular, there is no safety certification/approval marking on the MCB other than the CCC for China. No UL/NRTL or even CE mark. It bears the IEC 60898-1 mark, which is not in itself a certification but implies that the switch conforms to the IEC 60898-1 standard applicable to miniature circuit breakers for household and similar applications. Without certification from an independent laboratory, one can only wonder if the MCB actually conforms to the standard. I wouldn't use it in mission-critical security applications, and it certainly wouldn't be used in new products, except maybe in China. It should work for my purposes, but time will tell.
