Stopped talking after an hour

I bought two of these, put batteries in and tested them. At first they were fine. I have two granddaughters ages 3 and 4 who loved playing with them. I marked each of them with a permanent marker with the girls names on them (now I can't return, my bad). However after about an hour the eldest child's hamster would only move to sound, not talk. She was so disappointed. So if you buy one of these make sure they work for a longer period of time and don't make them unreturnable like I did.

Pros

Makes everyone in the family laugh and it is fun to use with my toddler who is still learning to talk.

Cons

So friggin tiny! Not worth what I spent on it

Gave to my 3 yr old grandson for Christmas and he loved it! The voice is very high pitched so hard to listen to for long periods of time but the laughter from my grandson makes up for the loudness. Have to admit it can be fun for adults too’
